Mr. Butt was very patient. I only made three small mistakes. Every time I came for practice, he encouraged me and gave me Red Bull. He also provided a lot of practice routes, and this practice happened to be the exam route, which made it easier for me to pass.

I cannot thank this driving school enough for the support I received throughout my driving journey. After several unsuccessful test attempts, I was feeling discouraged, but the instructors helped me rebuild my confidence and develop safer driving habits.

Every lesson was well-structured, professional, and encouraging. They were patient, understanding, and always took the time to explain things clearly. Thanks to their guidance, I became a much more confident driver.

I would highly recommend Learn to Drive in Leeds to anyone looking for knowledgeable and supportive instructors. A fantastic experience from start to finish. 👍🏻

I recently passed my manual driving test, and I genuinely credit a lot of that to Mr Butt’s videos. He explains everything in a very clear and simple way, which made even the more difficult parts feel manageable. His teaching style is calm, practical, and easy to follow.
I am an immigration lawyer based in London, so my schedule is quite demanding, but his videos allowed me to learn at my own pace and build confidence quickly. I would highly recommend his content to anyone preparing for their driving test.

He is the best instructor/trainer for ADI standard check and PDI part 3. He taught the whole of my family including my self. I wanted to become a driving instructor, I failed 2 attempts and then I spoke to Mr butt along with his wife they helped me as a family pass with an A grade ! I wanted him to take my picture and post it but he says he doesn’t do that. He has well and truly proven his A grade 51/51 result and is well experienced in his field. Anybody who is not passing part 3 I can’t recommend you enough to come to him. Truly exceptional !

I had a really good experience with Learn to Drive UK. The instructor can be quite strict, but it’s clear that he knows exactly what he’s doing and has your best interest at heart. The structure and discipline in his teaching actually helped me improve faster and build good driving habits.
I didn’t mind the charges at all because you truly get value for your money. Every lesson is purposeful and focused on helping you become a confident and safe driver, not just pass the test. He has a way of instilling confidence in you and easing your anxiety behind the wheel, which made a huge difference for me. I would definitely recommend Learn to Drive UK to anyone who is serious about learning to drive properly and confidently.

I’m so happy with their service. The way of teaching is different and effective. I think they teach basic and necessary things from the first lesson. No time wasting mentality. Anyone can chose this institution for lesson without hesitation.

I can honestly say that Mr. Butt is the best instructor I've ever had. I’ve encountered many instructors throughout my journey, and I've even faced setbacks in tests. The support I've received from Mr. Butt and his staff has been invaluable. They are incredibly understanding and genuinely supportive. Furthermore, Mrs. Butt is a highly skilled and wonderful instructor. If you're looking to pass your test on the first attempt while receiving attentive care, this is the best place to be in Leeds.

THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE. I would give -0
I just finished my assessment and payed £89 and when we where talking about how many lessons I need(I already drive but because I’m European I need to change to British license) he said I need to pay £1300 and I was TRYING to tell him that I can’t afford that much maybe less hours but he didn’t listen. He started talking down on me, he said I was being clever , that he would kick me out of the car( if though my assessment wasn’t not finished) he said he will take take me to the police and I was only trying to speak to him so we can find a solution for my situation. AND ALL OF THE TALKING DOWN ON ME WAS PROBABLY BECAUSE I WAS A WOMEN AND WOMEN CANNOT BE CLEVER OR BE RIGHT.I told him please take me to the police if I am in the wrong and he stop saying anything and just said “drive off”. I was a bit scared to be honest.
PLEASE DO NOT BELIVE HIM
And £89 it’s A LOT OF MONEY to pay for an assessment.

Response from the owner 11 months ago

THERE IS ALWAYS THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY Reply:"This review contains contradictions. The customer claims her session was completed, yet her behavior during the assessment required me to inform her that I might need to report the matter to the police. She repeatedly mentioned being a single parent with two children and claimed she couldn’t afford the lessons — she wanted me to charge her £27 a lesson and only 1 lesson a week as she got a European licence from Albania but she still have to do all learning process like every one else in UK she don't understand it was just a international licence valid for one year but according to her she still drives a car in this country after ten years of being in UK every one can understand how she is renewing every year from Albania it's illegal she had a test booked with not meeting test requirements we recommended a intensive which then would help her achieve her goal for that, she wanted the course for less wanted it for 27 pound per hrs travel time one hr give her lesson one hr which makes no sense and we refused she didn't like it. We understand — but we cannot provide services for free. All fees and lesson requirements were clearly explained, and we have always acted professionally and fairly. Many of our satisfied students can confirm our honesty and integrity."We will and do show empathy to our customers without compromising our rules and UK lawLearntodriveuk

Excellent instructor Mohammed Butt and the company Learn To Drive UK. Excellent progress, after the assessment and excellent help to choose one of the best courses. Reasonable and passed my test first time today in Harehills and travelled from York. The driving instructor was very patient and understanding but strict when necessary and pushed me and encouraged me enough to be able to pass after two weeks of lessons. The sort of person I am, it likely would have taken me a lot longer but Mr.Butt always pushed me to do more and do better, I have already recommended him to my family members and I would recommend to anyone who needs to learn and pass quickly and safely.

I started driving lessons in 2005 first time, and last 20 years couldn't made myself to complete it, I would start and never finish.
Mr Butt is not only driving instructor, he is psychologist, friend, he gave me confidence, he made me not give up, I was first time relaxed when driving. Mr. Butt made me confident driver and I will always be grateful to him.

I am so grateful to Mr Butt and his wife. I almost lost hope in my driving lessons because I had never sat behind the steering wheels before but they were patient with me. I didn’t have money but they insisted that they will help me and that I shouldn’t worry about money and true to their words, I have my licence now. Words cannot explain how I feel right now. May they never lack. May they be fulfilled with all their wishes and desires

It was an exceptional experience with the couple.
I was almost giving up, 5 days to my test but something in me just led me to search instructors around me. I stormed on his phone no and that was it.
Mrs Butt took me from the scratch, she is an exceptional teacher. Mr Butt rounded it up and here I am certified. It's the cost of one for two benefits. (Buy one get one free).

Took the intensive 1 week class with Mr.Butt and his wife Mrs.Butt, highly recommend their classes, taught me all the basic manoeuvres and cleared all my doubts. Practised with me everyday, 2 hour sessions, leading upto the test date, helping me build up my confidence and skills. Delivered many mock sessions and received feedback on how to improve as well. By the end of my lessons I was confident and was able to pass on my first attempt. Highly recommend them both as instructors and thank you again for helping me pass!
